Went to the 10:00am Saturday class.  Workout was 400m run, 10 burpees, 7 kettle bell swings.  (Pretty much EVERY Saturday is a workout that has 400m runs and some combination of burpees, KB swings, sit-ups, box jumps, and/or push-ups).  My shins and ankle bothered me in the 400m warm-up and I tried out burpees and my shoulder was freaking the eff out.  I also tried KB swings (Russians) and my shoulder was bugging as well.  Ugh.  So basically, on the level that the car above was modified, was pretty much the level of modification that I did for my workout.  I did 2 min on the air dyne, 10 sit-ups, 7 KB goblet squats.  My quads were killing me by the time all was said and done – but I finished in 12:21. Overall, I got what I needed out of it – a good burn workout.  It was kind of a bummer to have to basically do my own workout – but at least I was grinding through it with the class…so that made me happy.

Off to Game One of ALCS tonight (Red Sox vs. Detroit Tigers).  Go Sox!  In closing, here is an awesome t-shirt that I found at JC Penney that I’m going to wear for WoDs with Niko 🙂
